58. Deeper Knowing - Shame & Guilt

Welcome to HER Inspirations new series, Emotions  - A Deeper Knowing.

Over the next few weeks in each episode will look at at least one emotion.

I want us to have a deeper appreciation for the gift emotions can offer for our growth as individuals and subsequently as a society.

Resisting feeling and looking at our emotions, fuels the belief that they are something to be feared. We spend so much time avoiding, suppressing and denying them, forgetting that they arise for a reason.

By embracing our emotions, we are increasing what we allow ourselves to experience.
We deeply learn more about ourselves, see how much more we are capable of holding and therefore have more capacity to be there in a bigger way for others.

We cannot be destroyed by our emotions.

They are illuminating the myriad of tones in our Energetic Resonance. We are stronger because of them.

They are a gift.

This week I am covering both Shame and Guilt.

These are two emotions that are often used interchangeably. It is possible that the same action, or event may give rise to feelings of both shame and guilt, although they are similar in that they are self-conscious emotions, they present in opposing ways.

How can we evolve from integrating the lessons from Shame and Guilt?

“Shame is a soul eating emotion.” ― Carl Gustav Jung

“Every man is guilty of all the good he did not do.” ― Voltaire
